So many towns, so much history. I travel along the open road, the old highways, and the back roads that connect small towns and communities. These places, long ago, bypassed by the hustle and bustle of the interstate system. The buildings, the houses, the structures, withering away, battered by time and many already reclaimed back to the land. Much of the younger generations moved on to the larger cities with their hub of activity. As I travel these roads and cruise through these towns, my mind begins to wander about the places as they may have been in their heyday.
I find Americana at its best along the back roads and these small towns.
I have a passion to capture it; a glimpse of the past.
